CHILDREN AND YOUTH
We welcome children and young people of all ages and stages of
belief to become a part of the Christian family at St Mary Magdalene
Church.
This means that before, and from the time children are
baptised they are welcomed into the
Church and have the opportunity to grow, explore and strengthen their
faith through belonging, taking part and finding out more.
We like our young members to be seen and heard and encourage
participation in services through reading, drama and music.
There is something for everyone. Families with very young children are
invited to come to any service, but may find Parish Praise, every third
Sunday, a more informal service to attend. Soft toys and quiet games are
kept at the back of the church for younger children to use during
services.
Wednesday Worship at 10am on Wednesday mornings is also a good time to
bring pre-school children to an informal service of songs and worship.
SUNDAY CLUB
KING'S KIDS is
for 3-5 year olds and is held in the Old School Building in New Road, from at 9.45 to 11.15am.
YOUTH FELLOWSHIP
CRISS CROSS is our School Fellowship for Year 4+ and is held every Thursday 6.00pm to 7.30pm at the Church.

EASTER
HOLIDAY CLUB 2011
A fantastic time was had by all of the 60 children who joined the
Littleton Easter Holiday Club this year.
Using the theme of space travel, we explored the life of St Peter from
his ‘Blast Off’, when Jesus called him to be a “Fisher of Men”, through
to the ‘Black Hole’ of his denial of Jesus, concluding with ’Battle
Stations’ as Peter miraculously escapes prison.

The kids made rockets, flying saucers, hats of flame (to mark
Pentecost), kaleidoscopes and fishing boats. They played games and
learnt some fantastic songs and dance moves. New friends were made and
great fun was had.
