PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL  (PCC)

PCC stands for “Parochial Church Council”, an elected committee, formed from the clergy and members of the congregation. It is responsible for managing the church’s policies, its vision for the future, the upkeep and repair of all church buildings and contents, ensuring insurance cover, and preparing the financial accounts.

Whilst Revd Alison Waters arranges the services and general running of the religious side of worship, these arrangements must have the support and agreement of the PCC, with whom Alison works. The PCC is a charity, accountable to the Charities Commission.  The members of the PCC are the board of trustees for the charity.
